Out Of Programme and Secondments
The RCoA have produced a Notification of Secondment form for the use of trainees wishing to go Out of the Training Programme to undergo training, in a post already approved by the GMC for training.
Because the post is GMC approved for training, a formal OOPT application is not necessary. The new secondment form allows approval to be gained from the Regional advisor, which can support your application to the deanery for time off the training programme.
